Free is doing a lot of work in this category. Some free plans are a real way to launch a page. Others are a trial in everything but name: you can generate as much as you like and take nothing away. Neither is dishonest, but finding out which one you are on after a weekend of work is frustrating.

Four questions that tell you what free really means

  1. 01Can you publish? And if so, on your own domain or only on the vendor's subdomain?
  2. 02Is there branding? A Made with badge or ads on a free plan is common and fine for testing, less fine for a launch.
  3. 03Can you export the code or the design? This decides whether the work you do on the free plan survives if you leave.
  4. 04Can you use it commercially? Some free plans license designs for personal use only. Check before you put one on a product page.

How this was compiled

From vendor pricing pages and published reviews as of October 2026, not hands-on testing. Free allowances change frequently and some figures come from third-party reviews that disagree with each other, so confirm the current terms on each vendor's site. ResetUI is our product.

The free options you can actually ship with

Google Stitch

The most generous free tier in this list, requiring only a Google account. One review reports limits of a few hundred standard generations a month. It exports to Figma and to HTML with Tailwind, so you can take the work away. The trade-off is that reviewers consistently describe the code as a starting point rather than production-ready, so plan to clean it up or hand it to a developer.

Framer

You can design and publish a real site on the free plan, on a Framer subdomain with a Framer badge. That is genuinely useful for validating an idea with a waitlist. To use your own domain and remove the badge, the entry paid plan was about $10 a month in October 2026.

Webflow

The free Starter plan includes Webflow's AI features and publishes on a webflow.io subdomain, limited to two static pages and a small CMS. Enough for a single landing page test, not for a site.

Wix

A full builder for free, on a Wix subdomain with Wix branding and ads. Fine for a personal project. For a SaaS product, the branding undermines the credibility a landing page exists to build.

v0

The free tier includes a monthly credit allowance, and you can take the Next.js code and deploy it, including to Vercel's own free hosting tier. Iterative design work uses credits quickly, so expect to run out before the page is finished if you are refining it heavily.

The free plans built for evaluating

These are worth using to judge output quality before paying. Treat them as extended trials rather than a way to launch.

  • Figma Make: the free Starter plan has a small daily AI credit allowance, and generating a full page or app can use a large share of it. Credits have been strictly metered since March 2026.
  • UX Pilot: daily free credits are enough to judge quality, but one October 2026 review reports that free-plan designs are licensed for personal, non-commercial use.
  • Relume: the free tier is reported as one project with Figma export only. Enough to see how it plans a site.
  • Uizard: a small number of AI generations a month and a few projects, according to third-party pricing reviews.

ResetUI

Disclosure: our product, and its free plan sits firmly in the evaluating group. Every month you get 10 credits, which is one complete design generation plus five chat edits, on one active design of up to six sections. That is enough to see a full, designed SaaS page built from your own brief and to refine it. Code export is not included on Free. It starts on the $9 a month Starter plan.

The reason for drawing the line there is simple: generation is where the cost is, and the design is what you need to see to decide whether the tool is right for you.

How to launch a page for zero dollars

  1. 01Write your positioning sentence and a one-paragraph brief first. It is free, and it improves every tool's output.
  2. 02Use a free plan that lets you keep the result: Google Stitch or v0 for code, Framer or Webflow if you are happy on their subdomain.
  3. 03If you have code, deploy it on a free static hosting tier such as Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages or GitHub Pages.
  4. 04Point a domain at it. The domain is usually the only thing you pay for.
  5. 05Add a free analytics tool and a form service so you can measure sign-ups.

The full launch process, including a pre-launch checklist, is in the AI web designer playbook for startups.

When paying is worth it

  • When you need your own domain without a vendor badge on the page.
  • When you need the code in your own repository.
  • When you are iterating heavily and the free allowance is the bottleneck.
  • When you need commercial rights to the design.

Entry paid plans across the category mostly sit between about $9 and $30 a month in October 2026. Frequently asked questions

Is there a completely free AI web designer?

Google Stitch is free with a Google account within monthly generation limits and lets you export the design to Figma or as HTML with Tailwind. Framer, Webflow and Wix let you publish free sites on their own subdomains with their branding. Most other AI web designers offer free usage for evaluation and reserve export or commercial use for paid plans.

Can I use a free AI website for my business?

Often, but check two things. First, whether the free plan adds the vendor's branding or forces their subdomain, which can hurt credibility. Second, whether the free plan grants commercial use rights: at least one tool's free designs are reported as licensed for personal use only.

Which free AI web designer lets me export code?

Google Stitch exports HTML with Tailwind and Figma files, and v0's free tier lets you take the Next.js code. Hosted builders such as Framer, Webflow and Wix do not give you portable code on any plan. ResetUI exports code on its paid plans, starting at $9 a month, but not on Free.

What does ResetUI's free plan include?

10 AI credits every month, which is one complete design generation plus five chat edits, on one active design of up to six sections. You can generate and refine a full SaaS page design from your own brief. Code export is not included on Free and starts on the $9 a month Starter plan.

How can I host an AI-designed landing page for free?

If your tool exports code, static hosting services such as Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages and GitHub Pages all have free tiers that comfortably handle a landing page. If your tool is a hosted builder, its free plan will publish the page on its own subdomain.

See it on your own landing page.
