v0 is genuinely good. It produces the cleanest React output in the category, its named design systems are a real answer to generic-looking generation, and deploying to Vercel takes one click. People look for alternatives for three specific reasons rather than because it is bad.
- 01Framework lock. It outputs Next.js with shadcn/ui. If your site is Astro, Svelte, Vue, or plain HTML, the output needs translating before it is useful.
- 02It builds UI, not pages. It is component-shaped by design. A complete marketing page with a considered section rhythm is not what it optimises for.
- 03It cannot read your existing site. Point it at a page you already run and you get something new and unrelated, and you paste your own copy back in by hand.
How this was compiled
A researched comparison drawing on vendor documentation, public pricing, and published third-party reviews as of September 2026, not a hands-on bake-off. Pricing in this category moves quickly, so treat every figure as a starting point. ResetUI is our own product and is placed by what it does rather than at the top.
The eight at a glance

| Framer AI | Site builder | Hosted, not portable | Partial | Free, then ~$5+/mo |
| AIDesigner | Design tool | Exports code | No | Free tier, then paid |
| ResetUI | Design tool | HTML, Next.js, React, Vue, Svelte | Yes | Free, then from $9/mo |
| Relume | Design workflow | Figma, Webflow | No | Free, then ~$32/mo |
| Base44 | App builder | Built-in backend | No | Free tier available |
| Uizard | Design tool | Design files, some code | No | Free tier, then paid |
If the problem is framework lock
1. Bolt.new
The direct answer to v0's biggest constraint. Bolt runs a full Node environment in the browser, so it supports React, Vue, Svelte, Next and Astro rather than one of them. If your marketing site is Astro or your app is Svelte, Bolt is the only mainstream builder that hands you something you can use without a rewrite.
- Pick it if: you are outside React, or you want to try several directions quickly in a browser tab.
- Skip it if: you want v0-grade design coherence. Bolt has no equivalent of the named design systems.
2. ResetUI
Disclosure: our product. Relevant here because export is stack-agnostic by design. The same generated page exports as a standalone HTML file, a Next.js App Router page, a Vite React component, a Vue single-file component, or a Svelte component, and you can export the same design again in a different stack later without regenerating it.
The framework conversion is a real conversion rather than a rename, and it adds responsive behaviour for mobile and tablet on the way out, since the design itself is authored at desktop width.
If the page is step one of a product
3. Lovable
Scaffolds authentication, a Supabase database and Stripe by default, so a landing page and the product behind it come out of the same session. For a page on its own this is overkill and the most expensive entry point of the group, but when the page is the first visible piece of something you are about to build anyway, it removes a week of setup.
4. Base44
Similar shape, with a built-in backend and a free tier that is enough to judge whether the output suits you. Less discussed than Lovable, which occasionally makes it better value at the same capability.
If the problem is that the page looks generic
This is the reason most people search for a v0 alternative without quite saying so. The output is correct and unremarkable. That is a category property rather than a v0 flaw, and it is explained in AI app builder vs AI design tool.
5. AIDesigner
Design-first rather than code-first, working on an infinite canvas across landing pages, dashboards and mobile screens. Published comparisons rate its visual output highly. Its breadth is the trade: it covers many surfaces rather than specialising in one. Covered in more depth in the AIDesigner alternatives comparison.
6. ResetUI
Narrower than AIDesigner on purpose: SaaS marketing pages specifically. There is no template gallery to browse. You describe the page and the brief is matched automatically to one of twenty authored design specifications, each one a complete system covering palette, type scale, spacing and component language rather than a colour swap. Twelve page types are supported from the same design language, so a pricing page, a sign-in screen or a 404 comes out composed for its own purpose.
It is also the only tool in this list that reads a live URL, which matters if the page already exists and its copy is worth keeping.
7. Uizard
Closer to a design application with AI assistance than a generator. Strong if there is a designer on the team who wants to direct the output rather than receive it, weaker if you want a finished page from a sentence.
If you never want to touch code
8. Framer AI
Generates a marketing site and hosts it, with a genuinely capable visual editor afterwards. The constraint is portability: the site lives in Framer, and there is no meaningful code export. If you intend to keep it there that is not a constraint at all, and Framer is probably the best answer in this whole list. If you wanted files for your own stack, it is the wrong one.
If the framework constraint is what sent you here, the browser-based option is compared in the Bolt AI alternatives comparison.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best v0 alternative for landing pages?
It depends on why v0 is not working. Bolt.new is the best alternative if you are not on React, because it supports Vue, Svelte and Astro too. Framer AI is best if you want the site hosted with no code. For a landing page that needs to look designed rather than correct, a dedicated design tool such as AIDesigner or ResetUI is a better category fit than any app builder.
Is there a free alternative to v0?
Several. Bolt.new, Lovable, Framer, Base44 and ResetUI all have free tiers that are enough to judge output quality before paying. v0 itself also has a free tier. The practical difference is what the free tier lets you keep: some allow export, others only a hosted preview, so check that before investing time in a page.
Can v0 redesign an existing website?
No. v0 generates from a text prompt and does not read your live site, so your existing copy, section structure and brand are not carried into the result. For a redesign you would be reassembling your own content by hand afterwards, which is why URL-based redesign tools exist as a separate category.
Why does v0 only support React and Next.js?
It is built by Vercel and outputs Next.js with shadcn/ui, which is the stack Vercel hosts. That tight coupling is the reason its output is so clean and deploys so easily, and also the reason it is not useful if your site is Astro, Svelte or plain HTML. Bolt.new is the usual alternative for those.
Is v0 good for landing pages specifically?
Yes, with a caveat. It produces clean React and its named design systems genuinely help avoid generic output, which puts it ahead of most app builders on this job. But it is component-shaped rather than page-shaped, and design quality is a by-product of code generation rather than the objective, so a demanding marketing page usually needs heavier prompting than it would in a dedicated design tool.
